There are many expenses in providing our K-9 partners with the highest quality of care: food, veterinary, training, vests, transportation expenses, insurance, toys...so many toys etc.
Yet the value of their service in times of crisis is immeasurable. We have big goals for our little pack!
As the program grows not only will we be able to respond to community crisis, we will also be able to purchase protective ballistic vests for military and police K-9 heroes and to provide support to families looking to add Comfort Companions to their home through partnerships with rescue organizations and reputable breeders-trainers-& Veterinarians
We are looking for our first K-9 Candidates
If you know of a reputable Boston Terrier or Frenchie Breeder who may be looking for a valuable marketing package in exchange for a high-quality 8-12 week old puppy please send them our way!
The pup will remain in the care of one of our staff providers and will have medical insurance/veterinary care/ and positive professional training. You will be able to watch the pup progress on his or her own youtube channel which will document the entire process, antics, and adventures as well as the work we do in the community.
We will also be creating a children's book series about grief, and other important mental health topics featuring our K-9 Heroes as well as a coloring book featuring Buddy and Badge we will give out to children at our mental health awareness events and on our department and home visits!
